Stage 4: The Glaisette ridge
The Glaisette ridge is a great classic among mountain bike routes in the Queyras.
You reach it from the Casse Déserte car park on the climb to the Col de l’Izoard, via a non-technical track.
Once you’ve started it, here again it’s an exceptional descent that runs almost non-stop down to Chateau Ville Vieille.
Ideally, leave one car by the rafting stands in Chateau Ville Vieille and drive up to the Casse Derserte with a second car, or use one of the guide and shuttle services such as rideVTT.com, Guil E bike or Alligati.
