Florent Payet is a former professional downhill mountain bike racer, coach and member of the Scott DH Factory team.
Florent is without doubt the rider from Réunion Island who has best represented his island in downhill.
Over an 18-year career, he took part in no fewer than 102 World Cup finals and earned 2 World Championship podiums, at Les Gets in 2004 and at Val Di Sole in 2016.
After such a prolific career, you couldn’t expect Florent to retire far from racing.
